Privacy Policy

PaidYet is an invoicing app for self-employed tradespeople, made by Manuel Garrido. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your data is yours, it stays on your device or in your own iCloud account, and we never see it.

What the app stores

PaidYet stores the information you enter: your business details and logo, your customers and their contacts, jobs, invoices, payments and your preferences. It is kept on your device.

iCloud

If you turn on Sync with iCloud, the same information is stored in the private database of your own iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit, so your other devices can show it. It is protected by your Apple Account and Apple’s security. We have no access to it and no server of our own. Turning sync off keeps a copy on the device and stops syncing.

What we do not do

  • No account with us, no sign-up.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party SDKs.
  • We do not sell, share or transmit your data to anyone.

Apple services the app uses

  • Contacts. PaidYet never asks for access to your contacts. When you import from the Contacts app, Apple’s picker hands the app only the cards you tap.
  • Maps. When you type an address, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest addresses. “Open in Maps” opens the Maps app with the address.
  • Dictation. When you tap the microphone, audio is processed by Apple’s speech recognition, on your device where available or otherwise by Apple’s servers, under Apple’s privacy terms.
  • Notifications. Due-date reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to your customers unless you share it yourself.

Sharing and export

When you share an invoice, a reminder or an export, you choose where it goes through the iOS share sheet. From that point it is handled by the app or service you picked.

Your data, your control

You can export everything from Settings → Export your data. Deleting the app deletes its data from the device; data in iCloud can be removed by turning sync off on every device and deleting the app’s data in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud.

Children

PaidYet is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version ships with the app.
